Small Batch Process
Here at Heart of Balm we formulate our products in small batch quantities made more frequently with our own ingredients. The benefits of producing skincare this way is this creates a fresh and more potent product. It also gives us the ability to trade harsh chemicals for clean and safe, natural preservatives for a better product. Lead time can be 1 to 3 days based on the order. Grass Fed Tallow
Grass-fed tallow is a nutrient-rich animal fat rendered from the fat of cows that have been exclusively fed grass, which ensures a higher concentration of beneficial nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), and vitamins A, D, E, and K. Rendering tallow involves slowly melting down the fat at low temperatures to preserve its natural qualities. This process results in a pure, high-quality fat that we use in a variety of products, including skincare and soaps, providing excellent moisturizing properties and promoting healthier, more sustainable living. By hand-rendering our own tallow, we ensure the utmost control over quality and purity in every product.
